Cross Country Success

Well done to Cpl Donley, Wilby, Boyle, Waite and Attridge, who attended the inter-squadron cross country today. The results were very pleasing with the Boys B team coming 4th in Essex Wing and Cdt Wilby coming 6th in the Boys B race. As Wilby came in the top 6 in his category, he will be going to the inter-wing cross country early next year to represent Essex against other Wings in the London and South East Region.

Well done to all who took part, however yet again PARTICIPATION is the word I want everyone to think about. As a squadron we stand a far higher chance to achieve even more if we have full teams of cadets to put forward at these events. We can only achieve this if you participate in these competitions.

Recruitment

We have set a date for our next induction evening, where new recruits can join the squadron. This is taking place on Thursday 20th November at 20:00 hrs.

If you know of anyone interested in joining I ask you to pass their contact details on to us or get them to leave a message on the squadron's answer phone (01277 652794).

Everyone needs to take responsibility for increasing our numbers and get 2393 Squadron's name out there. I ask you all to spread the word among your friends and help us get a good number for our next induction.
